Flowing

Flowing is the most important task of the great judge, even more important than the ballot. The following are videos that explain how to properly flow each debate format (sorry, not including parli). Watch these videos to learn to be a great competitor, coach, judge and observer of debate.

Flowing Lincoln-Douglas Debate

Lincoln-Douglas Debate is a 1-on-1 format of debate where the students argue a “value resolution,” a proposition that wrestles with conflicts and the values that should solve them. This video shows you how to be a GREAT Lincoln-Douglas debate judge.

Policy Debate is a 2-on-2 format of debate where the students argue a proposition of “policy,” or a law to change the status quo of government. This video shows you how to be a GREAT policy debate judge.
